Communities work when the admin disappears. The moment members have to chase their renewal, or admins have to manually reconcile who paid what, the friction starts pulling people away from the thing they're actually there for, in this case, the cars and the people who love them.
Ford Performance Club brings Ford enthusiasts together. The driving, the events, the partner benefits, the shared passion. What it didn't need was a manual administration system getting in the way. We built them the platform that takes the admin off the table.
Who is Ford Performance Club?
Ford Performance Club is a community for Ford enthusiasts, organised around shared events, partner benefits and a membership model that connects members to each other and to exclusive offers.
The challenge
A growing membership base brings growing admin. New members to onboard, existing members to renew, vehicles to track, partner benefits to manage, payments to reconcile. Each of those, done by hand, takes a few minutes. Multiply by a few hundred members and a few hundred transactions a year, and suddenly the team is doing data entry instead of running the club.
The Club wanted two things from a single platform: a member-facing portal that felt like a benefit rather than a chore, and a back-office that gave administrators full visibility without full-time effort.
What we've built
The platform has two halves that share one engine.
For members, there's a personal portal. They can see and manage their cars, track their membership status, and discover the exclusive benefits available through Ford Performance Club's partners. Everything that relates to their membership lives in one place, and it updates itself as their situation changes.
For administrators, there's a comprehensive back-office. Members, subscriptions, vehicles and partner relationships are all manageable from a single environment. New memberships flow in, renewals process automatically, vehicle records stay attached to the right owners, and the team gets a real-time picture of who's active and what's happening across the club.
The renewal flow is fully automated. The platform supports both automatic renewals (for members who set it up) and yearly renewal cycles with the right reminder emails landing at the right time. Payments run through Mollie, so collection happens cleanly and admins don't have to chase money manually.
The result
A stable, scalable platform that handles the daily reality of running a membership community, onboarding, renewals, payments, partner benefits, without making it a daily job. The Club's team gets to focus on the community itself. The members get a portal that actually does something useful.
